Dodge City women’s basketball split a pair of games last week and Shorna Preston continues to have strong performances this season to help lead the Conquistadors. She posted her 13th and 14th double-doubles of the season last week starting with a 20-point performance on 9-13 shooting against Pratt as she grabbed 10 rebounds. In the win over Pratt, she added six assists, eight steals, and two blocks. On the road against Seward County Preston tallied 19 points on 6-12 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds, while adding seven blocks, two assists, and one steal. She would also break the school record for career blocks with now 124 in her career.
