Dodge City softball played to a 2-2 week splitting with both Seward County and Garden City. Josie Oakley was strong in the four games for the Conquistadors as she was 6-14 at the plate with five runs scored, eight RBI, and three doubles, while also pitching 9.2 innings over the four games earning the win in relief in each victory for the Conqs. In the comeback win over Seward County she was 2-4 with two runs scored, and RBI, scoring the game winning run. In the win over Garden City, she was 2-5 with three RBI, two runs scored, and a double.Â
On the season, Oakley is batting .227 with 15 hits, 12 runs scored, 15 RBI, 12 walks, and four doubles, while pitching 30.2 innings in 15 appearances.Â
