Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City track and field opened the outdoor season competing at the Mark Phillips Invitational and it was a solid start to the outdoor season for several Conquistadors. Irving Murueta had a strong meet as he won the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:23.18 and took fourth in the 5000-meter run with a time of 16:56.83. His time in the 5000-meter run is over 40 seconds better than his time in the same event at the Mark Phillips Invitational his freshman year.
