The indoor track and field season started for the Conquistadors and several Conqs have solid performances to open the season. Gabriela Elizalde placed ninth in the long jump with a leap of 4.79 meters, while also running a personal best time in the 60-meter dash at 7.94 and finished tenth overall in the event. She also ran the 200-meter dash posting a time of 26.83.
