Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City men’s basketball went 2-0 last week with wins over Colby and Independence and Chevalier “Ice” Emery was a key piece of the team’s success. He tallied 19 points on 7-13 shooting adding three rebounds and one assist in the road win over Colby and then followed that up with 27 points on 10-17 shooting with seven assists and three rebounds in victory over Independence. On the season Emery is averaging 15.7 points per game while shooting 47.6% and adding 2.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
