Dodge City women’s basketball opened the 2023-24 season with a 3-0 road trip in Texas with a pair of wins over ranked teams. Paris Santacaterina helped set the tone for the Conquistadors to open the season as she opened the year with a career high 25 points on 9-15 shooting and 4-4 free throws adding four rebounds, five assists, and three steals in road win over #13 South Plains. She followed that up with 10 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists in win over Midland and then capped the weekend with 18 points on 7-13 shooting and 3-3 free throws adding three rebounds and two steals.
