Dodge City football took down rival Garden City 33-10 for the first time since 2015 and the play of Jalen Smith was a key piece of the Conquistadors success in the contest. Smith ran for 122 yards on 22 carries with a 37-yard touchdown rushing for 5.5 yards per carry, while adding two catches for 12 yards and a touchdown. On the season he has 305 yards rushing with a six yards per carry average with two touchdowns and has caught six passes for 46 yards and a touchdown.
