Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City volleyball put together a 3-0 weekend on the court at the Otero Invitational and sophomore, Sierra Scanlan was a key piece of the Conquistadors success. Scanlan was the maestro on the floor at setter for Conqs offensively setting up her teammates for success throughout the tournament. 

Scanlan opened the tournament with 41 assists against Otero and added six kills, one ace, and five digs. She followed that up with 40 assists, three kills, four aces, 11 digs, and two block assists in win over North Platte. To cap the tournament, she had 54 assists along with eight kills, four aces, 10 digs, and three block assists in a tough win over Eastern Wyoming. 

On the season Scanlan has 140 assists, with 54 kills, 13 aces, 67 digs, and seven blocks playing in all seven matches.
