Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City men’s basketball went 3-0 last week to improve to 3-1 on the season. Jason Edwards was a big part of the Conquistadors success last week. 
 
Edwards dropped a team-high 15 points in the win over McCook as he was 6-12 from the floor and 3-6 from the free-throw line adding three rebounds and one assist. He followed that up with 19 points on 6-14 shooting and 6-6 from free throw line in an overtime win over Trinidad State adding four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. In the victory over Otero, he scored 12 points on 5-7 shooting and added three rebounds and one assist. 
 
On the season Edwards is averaging 13.8 points per game on 46.3% shooting, while adding 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
