Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City track and field team competed at the Loper Invitational last Friday competing against several NCAA Division II schools along with a few NAIA programs. 
 
On’Hay Phillips had some of the highlight performances for the Conquistadors at the meet as she competed in the 100 and 200-meter dash races. In the 100-meter dash she posted a time of 12.33 which was just 0.29 seconds off National qualify standards and finished fourth in the event and posted a time of 25.82 in the 200-meter dash to place fifth. 
 
She also ran a leg on the women’s 4x100 meter relay team which notched a time of 48.63 which was only 0.42 seconds off National qualifying standards.
