Dodge City track and field team had another national qualifying performance in the recent competition as Shade Torres earned a spot at the NJCAA Outdoor Championships in the javelin with her showing at the Broncbuster Invite.

Behind a throw of 38.58 meters (126’07 feet) Torres earned her spot at Nationals beating the qualifying mark by over two meters.
