Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City softball picked up three victories in their first home action of the season this past weekend beating Northeastern in a doubleheader and earning a KJCCC win over Northwest Kansas Tech. Helping lead the charge for the Conquistadors was Melanie Castro who finished the weekend 8-9 at the plate with eight runs scored, six RBI, two walks, a triple, and a double. 
 
On the season she has played in all 13 games for the Conqs and is hitting .405 with 15 hits, 15 runs scored, nine RBI, two doubles, two triples, eight walks, and a stolen base.
