Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City track and field team continued indoor competition last week competing on Sunday and then Saturday and Cynthia Delapaz became the first Conquistador to qualify for Indoor Nationals. 
 
Posting a time of 19:16.05 in the 5000m at the Region VI/KJCCC Invite at Pittsburg State, Delapaz earned a spot at the NJCAA Indoor Nationals, which will also take place at Pittsburg State. 
 
Delapaz ran in the 3000m at the Herm Wilson Classic at Wichita State and finished fourth behind a time of 11:36.02.
